“There wasn’t an offer on the table,” Kreider said. “If (the Rangers) have been in touch with my agent, I’m not aware of it. They haven’t been in touch with me at all.”
However, Kreider did leave the door open to possibly signing with the Rangers by saying the "decision to go back for my junior season" was valid "as of now," which Gross feels made it sound like that could change.
...lots of debate on whether Kreider would be better with another year at BC or learning the Rangers system in the AHL with the Whale. I'm of the opinion that it'd make more sense for Kreider to learn the professional game with the Whale. Will there be struggles? Absolutely, but he will be much better prepared for the NHL when he goes to camp to start the 2012-13 season.
...but hey if he wants to chase after co-eds for another year more power too him. You're only young once.
