Sorry folks, got absolutely destroyed by the flu last night and not feeling much better today, so there's really going to be nothing on the blog leading into tonight's contest against the Capitals other than this open thread.
Hey, at least I feel better than John Tortorella this morning...
Speaking of fights, I've got to say I was impressed with the way the Rangers handled themselves in Ottawa yesterday. Dominic Moore stood up for Mats Zuccarello and then Dan Carcillo tried to jump in when Moore was run over by Chris Neil....
Carcillo and Neil would have likely fought, but Moore got in the way.
And finally, it was nice to see Cam Talbot stick up for himself after being run over by Conach (via my friends at Rangers Reddit)...
Again, sorry fellas for the lack of posts today and pre-game notes. Need to do a better job drinking my orange juice.
Great game gang.....and always....its my pleasure to share the game with you all......
PS...dont forget...Isles-Flyers tomorrow...should be a fun one ;)

Hmmm....Flyers and Isles....finishing up a home and home.....Isles play us Tuesday......does Capuano come loaded for bear yet again....Boulton, Carkner and Martin...all in the line-up? Gonna be fun
Man...every time I see a player break a stick, i think "well there goes $200". I bet if you totaled all the sticks broken in a single season, and the cost of those said sticks, you could feed a 3rd world country.
Torts is gonna storm your house if you keep talking like that
Well done sir
@AnnoyingJoejeeze...how good is that!? this is almost becoming better than winning!
From Nash. Just so the Caps have to stick around longer while the caps are cleaned off the ice.
Its weird, philly never has goalie issues
that kind of explains why you dont trade Talbot. Lets hope he is alright
i like seeing it come out of dolans pocket
@shoot_the_goaliethey probably only cost like 50 bucks to make.
one man's knees, another man's...
Gotta say, back when I played, I played with an Easton aluminum shaft with an insert blade and I thought they were the coolest things on the face of the earth. Just recently, after not playing for years, I finally skated in a stick & puck and used a composite stick. It's amazing the difference and the cost.
