Looks like the ridiculous ticket prices for the two games at Yankee Stadium in January are having a negative affect on sales as the Rangers have again reached out to season subscribers informing them they have a second opportunity to purchase tickets (via reader Jessica L.)...

Individual tickets have yet to go on sale.
...maybe the Rangers are just trying to be nice to their season subscribers by offering those who already purchased Yankee Stadium tickets an opportunity to purchase additional seats, but I've got to think the outrageous ticket prices have kept sales down and they've decided to hit up their human ATM machines (aka season ticket holders) a second to time to ensure maximum profit.
...got to figure that when the Rangers release individual tickets to the public they'll likely be gobbled up immediately so I'm not sure why they went back to the season ticket holders.
...you'd think New York sports franchises would learn from the mistakes that the Yankees and Mets made when they jacked up ticket prices for seats in their new ballparks and are now playing in front of half filled stadiums. Although, the sparse crowds at Citi Field has more to do with the performance on the field than the hit to the wallet.
Don't forget, as a season ticket holder already getting raped, you have the privilege & honor of having to buy tickets for both games as a two game plan....plus you get the crappy advertisement hat and scarf for only an additional $25! what a joke. greed at it's finest. let's play some f'n hockey already. this is BS.
Don't think you need to worry for them. Also think av is going to be playing Staal with DZ and Girardi with Mcdonagh based on today's pairings, but who knows.
did u consider that maybe they want more Rangers fans at the game since hearing that for Islander season ticket holders, for every 1 season ticket u own ur able to buy 3 for the yankee stadium game...
@Michael DeMeo sucks to be a poor bitch, should have tried harder in school and have been smarter with your money.
@FREE LINDBERG Awesome top 4 and w/ Stralman (maybe the most underrated Ranger and best bang for the buck) and the Moore signing last season, our D looks simply awesome. Add in Falk, Johnson, McIlrath and Allen, things are looking really great depth wise.
@nyr322 Damn you making a good point like that.
ah, same difference as being a wealthy bitch -- a bitch is a bitch and you're a bitch
You still don't get it! Wow. Before it was funny, now you're just sad.
@AG_Blue I'm never wrong. you might as well call me God. i don't know if ill be able to see a puke like you in the cheap seats. if you wanna hang out in my box just let me know.
Ha! Wrong again
Your reading comprehension displays that extra effort you made as a young scholar.
See you at the stadium, moron.
i knew you wouldn't understand
@AG_Blue kind of a big difference my man. a wealthy bitch will be going to the game and sitting in decent seats, next to a poor bitch who will be drinking PBR on his couch in his trailer.
