Now that Halloween is over, it's time to look forward to Thanksgiving. And what better way to do that than watching this hysterical commercial with Mike Richter and Cam Neely promoting the Rangers/Bruins matchup on the day after Turkey Day...
...oh man, greatest line ever from Richter, "Talk about trash, how about those fans in Boston." Now that's some serious smack talking.
Miller has been struggling, might be good to watch one from the pressbox. Worked for Zuke. Still rather have him than Pyatt though.
From Daily News' Pat Leonard:
Vigneault was leaning toward scratching young forward J.T. Miller to make room for Callahan’s return to the lineup. Miller struggled in Saturday night’s 5-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes, in particular drawing criticism from goaltender Henrik Lundqvist for failing to clear the puck out of the defensive zone on one ‘Canes possession. Lundqvist eventually froze the puck and could be seen barking in Miller’s direction.
Remember the commercial where Milbury climbed into the Garden crowd and beat a fan with his own shoe oh no wait THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED.
so excited to see Cally tonight but really???? are the rumors true....miller is the scratch instead of pyatt? how is this possible!!!!!
I would imagine the lines tonight will be:
Man I would love to see miller in Pyatts spot, but he's got some dirt on AV or something
Callahan is playing tonight... Holy shit... What is that two weeks for a broken thumb. The guy is an animal.
Wow, looks like Sea Bass has been eating a few too many of those Bahston cream pies. This is still my favorite Neely commercial!
@shishya100 Assistant Coach Lundqvist?
@shishya100 Interesting. Nice catch.
@gravey94 That commercial was amazing. Still is! Man I loved the old ESPN hockey commercials. They were all amazing.
@shishya100 Thinking about it, I'm actually not too shocked by this. Think about it. Mash fits that fourth line role a bit better than Miller, and while Miller has had nice moments he's still far too inconsistent. I would imagine the bottom six would include Boyle Brassard Cally and Pyatt Mash Dorsett or Dorsett Brassard Cally and Pyatt Boyle Mash. Those two possible pairings actually don't bother me much.
I like Miller, but if AV does feel Mash presents a better 4th line option, I think Miller could be sent down to the Whale just to get 1st line minutes again and improve his game a bit. You can say a lot about Pyatt but he hasn't been bad on the PK and putting him in a full time fourth line role may not be awful.
@shishya100 Now i am convinced it has to be more than pictures. Maybe AV and Pyatt are an item?
seriously great news about Cally...but...miller scratched!? how is he even in the conversation to be scratched!? I hope the garden reigns down booo's on Pyatt even if by some act of god he finds the back of the net.
@shishya100 Shocked about everything you just posted. Mashinter!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember watching Bruins games on NESN (probably late 80s, early 90s) when they had videos of short mite or squirt games during the intermission. I loved watching that.
