Update, 5:55 p.m.:
The Rangers report that Michael Del Zotto is a healthy scratch tonight. Justin Falk will take his place.
...i think it's safe to say Del Zotto's days in a Rangers uniform are numbered.
The Rangers also note that Dorsett is a game time decision with a sore wrist. Taylor Pyatt would take his place if he can't go.
Beniot Pouliot is in the lineup.
The New York Rangers (12-12-0) visit the Florida Panthers (7-13-5) at the BB&T Center starting at 7:30 p.m. For a preview, visit Yahoo! Sports.

- The Panthers have gone 3-1-1 in their last five.
- Florida is seeking its third straight win at home and has gone 3-1-0 in its last four there against the Rangers.
- The Panthers have given up four power play goals on 11 chances in the last three games.
- Brian Campbell and Jonathan Huberdeau are pointless in their last four games.
- Tomas Fleischmann has gone pointless in his last seven games.
- Brad Boyes has five poitns (3g, 2a) in his last seven games.
- Sean Bergenheim has three points (2g, 1a) in the last two games.
- Former Ranger Scott Gomez has just one point (an assist) in the last 10 games and hasn't scored since opening night. And if you don't believe me that Gomez has actually scored this season, here's the proof...

Can we start a campaign for Strahlman for the Norris, re watching the game he might be the most underrated played in the NHL
anyone else interested in Bjugstad? After tonight I would give up DZ and a second for him. The guy is huge and can dominate at times. Not to mention he is 21. I really hope the Rangers look there...
they really have to move Del Zaster now. Dragging this out and is only hurting his value while not enabling the Rangers to actually add a valuable assets like a physical strong shot from the point or physical forward who actually scores and not just puts shots on net!
im just sayin...hank and girardi to pitt would bring back a war chest. malkin plus picks no doubt in my mind. malkin nash kreider line would be a nice place to start! lol
@Vkinc74 I don't know about a Norris, but I love Stralman and hope the Rangers resign him. He really is unbelievably underrated, even amongst Ranger fans. Every time he makes a mistake or has a subpar game people jump all over him. I think Torts deserves some credit for how he plays today.
@AnnoyingJoe still a ranger... bummer
@Dillon's Hypothetical Thumbs how do we get there?
@Dillon's Hypothetical Thumbs shhh r too loud
@BringBackBeukeboom there is no way the Pens would let got of Malkin and honestly even if SAther was crazy enough to want to trade Hank....who would want him knowing he will be a free agent at the end of the year? The pens would be better off waiting till of the season and making an offer while restructuring their team to keep Malkin n Crosby w/ Hank. But it is nice to dream! Malkin Nash Kreider would almost justify the $115 price tag for nosebleeds at the garden!
@KreiderisTheChosenOne cally is master of deflections
@AnnoyingJoe LOL....such an apologist. Unfortunately....everything in the PACKAGE counts....the horrible stick handling, the bad glove hand high, the weak goals. He WAS only really good at best and is now only good....and getting older and worse. Sign him for a long term deal and YOU will be the first one bitching 2 years from now.
@AnnoyingJoe that one was really bad... worse than any goal the other night
@dylonergan *used to have those
@KreiderisTheChosenOne I WOULD GIVE MANY THANKS
@NYR44 he is allowed to talk about fight club
