Update, 7:06 p.m.
Reports have Staal taking warm-ups with Stralman. Eminger is odd man out.
Clowe not out for warm-ups and won't be playing.
...shocked Clowe isn't in the line-up.
Update, 5:57 p.m.:
#NYR Rangers have activated defenseman Marc Staal (eye) off injured reserve— Katie Strang (@KatieStrangESPN) May 6, 2013
...assuming this means he's in. Not sure why they'd take him off if he's not. Wonder if Torts goes with seven defensemen just in case.
The New York Rangers host the Washington Capitals at Madison Square Garden for Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinals match-up starting at 7:30 p.m. The Capitals lead the series 2-0. For a preview go to Yahoo! Sports.

Rock the Red
Oil spill at the Lincoln tunnel, but let me tell you a couple things. First of all John Moore is an animal. Next the rangers lose this game 9 out of 10 times. I think tonight showed toy that they should not have been planning for ovechkin and instead been worrying about themselves. They have a must win game on Thursday, hopefully they show up. But sitting in the car in traffic, I can honestly say that i am happy after Tonight, but definitely hungry for more :)
The Rangers showed a lot of grit tonight. Despite being outplayed at times, they continued to fight. Hopefully this will carry over to game 4. Stahl looked very slow out there tonight. It has to be tough coming back after missing 2+ months. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction.
Just told my wife when we r 95 & I die just know I would have lived to be 100 but this game took 5-yrs from my life!!!!!!
I think I hate Ovi as much as Mario Lemieux for that type of BS embellishment!!! Crosby is up there too. Effing pussies who play hard-hitting hockey (not Lemieux) but want soccer calls in their favor. Crosby is the worst though!!!
Well, it was far from a perfect game....but....
Winning is like deodorant....it covers up everything that stinks...
Onto game 4 boys!!!!
@ThrSage '94 put me on dialysis
Rumor has it that Josh got to meet Kreider...and Kreider shook his hand.
Josh then screamed out.."i'll never wash this hand again"...then fainted.
@McPhee37 yeah cuz they stunk
@PenaltySh0t slow mo made it look worse but
@GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG Bad call but i agree

@MannySanghera I hope she's worth it!
@MannySanghera Not that it'll help but it's only 1:54 lol
@AnnoyingJoe To be fair they also collapsed like like wet bread.
I can only wish, but what a game to be at, thought we were toast after their 3rd goal... Really disappointed with Nash though... 0 goals in three games
