Days of Y'Orr
Boy Torts loves Richards. He actually just said " Iove him as a person & a player & kiss my ass if u write something different"....Josh I know u want him gone but I donx't think its gonna happen.
Saturday cant come soon enough! Only negative I can say about tonights game is that the dmen looked hesitant at times, especially DZ and Hamrlik.
Before I sign off I have to share that my intuition is at least 90% with this club - though I don't make predictions to the public - not superstitious but why even go there. Tonight's prediction was - Rangers win by 1 and Nash gets winning goal. Pretty damn close! I have an idea on Sat. but I'm not telling lol
If the Rangers can just pull out a game 5, not only will my 2-0 record be put to work in game 6, but Game 7 as well... I BELIEVE!!! LGR!!!
Goodnight funny people. LGR
@ThrSage it will just wait, he is just saying that in case he needs him if someone gets injured
@ATCRyan I'd rather see my grandmother out there than Hamrlik - and she's dead!
to the media? did he really? or ....
First shift: told my daughter 'Nash and Kreider. I like it.' (Bought her an old school Blue Sweater at Gerry Cosby's today). LGR!
@ATCRyan Could argue that Kreider's time on the 4th line got him to focus on defense and taking the body and then when moved up in the last game he showed that he belonged there for the first time this year. Nothing inconstant with how Torts is coaching. Could be that this is what he needed. Now he needs to keep it up and prove he belongs. Could be that we get the kid that we thought we had back for the play offs and beyond. Heres to hoping.
not at all
@ATCRyan Kreider should play every game this postseason now, and next year unless injured
man, i just got this thing ... makes me wonder why my last one blew up .......
@McPhee37 I should get to do the same to everyone right now
@greggray24 @ATCRyan 2nd AG's comment - good call. What I don't like about that Richey/Kried 4th line is that 4th line is for the grinders and fighters. I kept yelling since Richey's demotion to either play him to score or bench him. Would rather see Krieds learn D in a way that wouldn't have contributed to losing 3 straight in the playoffs.
@ThrSage Like I said earlier, if he gets injured at the end of next year they are stuck, they can't wait he is done
Kreider seems to have a good head. Personally I never bought any of the talk about him being "ruined" by his rollercoaster season. By all appearances he has a professional demeanor and has everything going for him. He'll learn. Stepan, McDonagh, and Hagelin have all learned pretty quick around here. Kreider could be one of those guys.
@Josh6 @AG_Blue @ATCRyan He will still have to work on his game, and make it through camp, but clutch playoff game winning goals 2 seasons in a row looks damn good on the resume. The guys a winner. I hope he works hard and earns his spot. If he develops the right way he could be huge here. He's already made quite a splash. The kids willing to learn and work hard so I can't see it not working out for him
You see AG....that's where he's clueless. You cant make it a different game...the game is what it is. Especially come playoff time....where everyone ups their physical game.
If he thinks he's going to reinvent the game....it aint ever going to work. And its going to cost him his job. And no tears will be shed from my end.
it's not that he's clueless. somehow he wants it to be a different game. you know darn well that he knows. it doesn't explain the inexplicable, but he's made it clear that he's standing down. i don't know what kind of sense it makes, but i do know that he knows ... Torts has been around the block for quite a while here. none of you geniuses has a better hockey mind than him. his problem is not ignorance, but behavior.
