Rock the Red
Same spot last year boys. We can do this it's a very even series. Win one home game see you Monday for all the marbles.
Since i see some people are listening...can Nash just stop the "I think I'm from the Soviet Union" spin move when he is faced up going one on one on a defender. he ends up on his backhand with no angle and can only hit a low backhand. Easy save for the goalie. To me this shows lack of confidence. I keep expecting move speed and power from him to beat a defender and get a real shot off.
Rangers are the only team in the playoffs with a single digit PP percentage.. and they have the 3rd most PP time
Does anyone else think they looked tired tonight? I really felt Cally and a lot of others looked tired.. idk if that had to do with Clowe getting hurt, but that is unacceptable
My main problem with Nash in this interview is at he does not even seem that upset about the loss. They all should be praising Hank.
we win game 6 at home and finally figure out how to score a power play goal in dc during game 7. we're wnning this series. i believe.
I really don't care what anyone says this was an absolute must win. We can't win on the road for shit, and we won't have home ice anywhere in these playoffs more than likely. We shit the bed on the road, and get trampled. That's why I can get so down about this. And that fucking plug Richards and the slightly less useless Nash don't help.
2 goals in 3 games on the road, and Nash 1 assist in 5 games. I really think we can get it back to washington but this team cant win on the road and thats a problem.. Nash is a joke.. I dont care if you are double or tripled teamed.. he needs to at least get some shots.. he is a CHOKE ARTIST
Well...I would hope that Nas really is hurt. In fact, if he isn't his PR guy should tell him to say he was. Yep...sprained ACL...since the Lucic hit...that's it.
For the people that say Hank is staying.. I really can't see how he does.. 1 goal when Hank saves 5 for sure goals.. He is going to win a ton of cups with Pittsburgh
I think the Caps adjusted their strategy, they played a much more passive game & we didn't countr that by getting it in deep & cycling. They played the way they last yr not allow a lot of shots on Holtby. They let it become a battle of attrition. Then they got the puck luck & scored.
C'mon get off the guys back...the effort is there. It's his 1st real playoff series. He will figure it out
Keep the faith josh....in both Nash & Rangers.....the effort is there. It's his 1st real playoff series. He will figure it out. As for the Rangers one thing this team has is heart it's a tough spot but they can do it!!!
@Josh6 I'd take him over Richards.
Have faith Josh. If Nash plays well in Game 6 and 7...all is forgotten
Everyone and I mean everyone jumped on me when I said back in the summer that I was nervous about bringing him to NY. Great season player, but always slumps in the spring. And NY has a horrible track record in bringing in big names,
@Josh6 Way to stick to your two talking points. Nash sucks. Hank is leaving. Anything other valuable insight tonight?
@Josh6 no chance in hell hank bails for fucking pittsburgh.
He has had real playoff experience! I am tired of people saying that! He helped lead the Blue Jackets! They did play the Wings. And that was when they had a team. Mason was one of the best goalies that year. He does have real experience. I do think he will turn it around but he has one maybe two games. My problem is he needs to seem excited to be in the post season. Instead I just feel blah from him right now. Maybe he really is injured. I just hope he comes back in the future because it is a massive contract,
@ThrSage The fact that you are defending this big goof is kind of disgusting to me.. he should be apologizing to Hank multiple times. He is arod in the playoffs but without even one ring
@ThrSage are you kidding? the effort is there? what effort, direct me to it?
@ThrSage They can do it.. Nash is a choke-artist
@Josh6 the only other team i could ever imagine him playing for is Frolunda, when he's 40 years old.
@ThrSage The guy is a big goof, and a loser. In my mind Crosbitch has 3 or 4 goals in this series even if he is triple covered..
Not sure how old ur but I am 45 yrs old I heard that said about Gretzky Lemiux Trottier Leetch Yzerman even Messier in Edmonton then w-us in 93 when we missed the playoffs. The great Mike Richter gave up one of the worst goals in playoff history in 92 completly turned the series around for Pens. No one thought he would ever win a Cup and he was a big reason we won in 94. Nash will get it eventually he is too good not too...keep the faith
