Days of Y'Orr
Lack of physical presence, poor passing and piss poor power play pretty much sums up the night. It is amazing how Richards and Del Zotto still get put on the PP. Either way I think that they'll turn it around on Sunday...
I'm inclined to give them pass for this one. I made the mistake of giving up on them after 2 games in the first round.
Long tough 7-game series before this, they were bound to be flat at some point. Better now than in a game 7 in this series.
Does this overtime trend start to get in your head?
"Well.... I have to ask myself the right question. Do i play bad in overtime? No. Can I score in Overtime? No."
Hank just called out the team, and it is about time somebody did. They never show up for OT
2-31 with a man advantage.... seriously whoever is responsible for the PP, it is a miracle they still are
I usually will watch the game a second time. Focus on players and assignments...watch some play in slow-mo...
But I absolutely refuse to watch this filth...this excrement.... twice.....it was bad enough the first time around.
Have fun breaking this game down Coaching staff....bring a bucket to vomit in.
Torts....this team played so poorly. You need to act...and act quickly.
Ugh, why did it have to be Brad fuckin' Marchand. I hate that guy probably more than anyone in the entire league.
Let this be a lesson to everyone when we open it up & play up & down hockey we lose. Now 0 for our last 4 in OT!!!!!
This team was an absolute disgrace tonight. 1st and 2nd periods...outplayed by a "flat" Bruins team. Absolutely dominated in the OT period.
The Bruins came out flat early in this game...that was our opportunity. What did we do? We "outflatted" them......
Torts...i dont care who it is...or who comes in....but after this display...you have to make change/ changes.
well I am going to say must win sunday.... going down 0-2 to Boston is not the same as Washington...
Damnit. Well it is game one and one thing we know is that this team loves a challenge. They never make it easy. Now we have two days off because the NHL is weird like that.
Started with low percentage cross ice pass by Brassard. In OT when tired you HAVE to play north south.
@DPSnotty well put. again.
They didnt show for the majority of game..never mind the OT ...
@greggray24 yea, they talked about his 10-20 second shifts more than the actual game....
@Josh6 Nobody is responsible. That is the problem. We've talked about this before. think we need that fat kid from the mighty ducks movies to play point for us...
@McPhee37 Not sure the days off are good for these guys. Keep this up and they will have a lot of days off until next season...
@ThrSage His best impression of DZ
@McPhee37 unless there's a "wont" between them, Torts and change will never be in the same sentence.
@McPhee37 how about Richards comes out for a bag of pucks
@McPhee37 The good news is that it is hard to believe they can play worse than they did tonight. They need to adjust for Chara's reach. Too many dump ins that were in his inhuman reach. I think that greenpeace protests the impact the wood for his sticks has on the rain forests...
@McPhee37 Just like games against the preds and others - playing down to the level of the opponent
@Josh6 What, Boston doesn't have a loosing record after going up two? Someone better tell Torts fast!
@jmacwilli bad pass by brassard... oh well, he has played well, and is young... he will learn.
@PenaltySh0t Did that pass get deflected?
@IcyCup2 Thanks - love the EVH avatar!
@ThrSage We have who we have. They are clearly more balanced and our top guys are not producing. Nash looked ok but everyone else needs to find their game fast. I can't believe that Cally will look this bad again. It is like he forgot to put the glue on his stick that holds the puck. Don't think Torts can fix this - need the players to step up.
Yep they were awful....If Hank played like Hank we win this game. He uncharacteristicly gave up 2-bad goals. Hard to win that happens.
@greggray24 There were also a bunch he just picked out of the air - he's good with that stick...
@ThrSage did you see that no look cross ice pass through the middle of our d-zone.... the game should have ended right there.... rule number 1 in hockey, never throw it through the middle of your zone
Sends a message at the very least
