@TheNYRBlog you've said the right food type a bunch of times, im waiting for the dead on specifics im sure you will get it in time.
If Gaborik is a "poor fit" for this club, then it's the club and Torts that have to change, not Gaborik. This team loses because it can't score enough goals. So is that because Gaborik doesn't play physical enough? Or is it because Torts is so centered on grinding, physical play that his skill guys don't get to utilize their skill? Obviously, it's the latter. 40-goal scorers don't just grow on trees. Are we really going to run this guy out of town because he's not a third-line grinder type like Torts loves? Makes no sense at all.
I'm really starting to believe that this team wins in spite of Torts, and not because of him.
Gaby having "off years" is not an excuse. If you're a professional anything, why should your employer keep paying you more than most everyone else if you only do your best work every other year?
@TheNYRBlog @AGrossRecord If Gaborik is a poor fit and everyone knows it, why keep him now? It would be better to take what you can now
Gabby just needs to learn to take a hit. He is soft, avoids checks, and therefore gives up the puck to easily.
