...depending on how Miller continues to develop, the Rangers could be interested in a 2nd or 3rd line center at the trade deadline and the last time I checked the Blue Jackets roster they have two guys who I think might enjoy playing in New York.
...Henrik Sedin would be ok as well. lol

I would take Artem back in a heart beat. Dubi can stay where he is.
Tyutin is coming back. I've known it since he left and we've been without a good 5/6.
I'm sure Slats asks about Dubi and Ani but in that organization those are like Stepan and Richards. They need them.
Don't know where to post it, but I really like the Miller and Cally combo on a line. Even when Richards comes back I would like to see those two stick together with Richards on the second line. Only problem is then Gaborik is on the 3rd, but I really think Miller has thrived on the second line, and soon I think he will hit the back of the net... Problem is Gaborik not being on the top 2 lines is almost a waste, especially when he is stuck playing with Boyle
A lot of people are talking about depth centers, but I have heard Ryan Kesler was being talked about... just a rumor though
A lot of love for Dubi out there when last year he was getting shat on. Not that he didn't deserve it. I loved Dubi's game and how hard he played every night, but for 4+ mil a year you better be more than a glorified Brian Boyle. Can't make that much money and put up only 34 points.
Don't we have enough third liners on this team!?!?!?!? Boyle is not great. Can't figure out how to get to the net but he wins tons of face offs. Who are we gonna get on the cheap that wins lots of draws and has an offensive upside? Leave it alone Slats! (maybe I'm still pissed over the USELESS Asham acquisition)
@JDiLeone9 @TheNYRBlog Id bring back the tan man for a run can through him at center or left wing. No one loves scoring more then he does
@K92moore @TheNYRBlog I'd take prospal back assuming that's who you're referring to lol
@JDiLeone9 @TheNYRBlog No better tan in the league then Prospal. I think its would be an inexpensive depth move.
As much as i would love to see anisomov and dubes come back they gotta stop makin so many changes let the settle in..let us fans enjoy the team together thats y last yr was so great esp. With the 24/7
Trying to figure out which centers you're thinking of...Brassard and Johansen? ;-)
Honestly, unless we're giving them McDonagh and Stepan, I don't think CBJ is giving us those guys back. They absolutely love them over there.
Just wait til the off-season when Anisimov is a RFA. Asham comes off the books, maybe Rangers could get Artie back for cheap
@ATCRyan Artie is a RFA this summer and Asham is signed for next year (not sure which summer you were referring to but it isn't same summer). Would be very surprised if CBJ didn't re-sign him though. They really love him over there...I'm sure they will make the numbers work.
@ATCRyan Artie is a RFA after this season but Asham will still be on the books because he is signed through next season. I'm sure he will get paid but I doubt it will be by a team not named the Columbus Blue Jackets lol.
Yeah I dont know why I thought he was a RFA after this season... He will probably get paid pretty well once he is an RFA but theres still a chance he could come back to NY
@Melissa (blknblueshirts) @ATCRyan Especially with good old JD in charge now. Wouldn't be surprised to see CBJ become a decent team within the next 3-5 years.
I was watching the clip of Richter's stop on Bure's penalty shot in the SC finals, and man I miss Sam and JD announcing. Love Joe, but JD was boss.
@Melissa (blknblueshirts) agree, I heard Columbus was on the verge of making dubi captain before he got hurt
@thenyrblogneill I heard that too and still think they will at some point (unless they make a longer tenured CBJ player the captain and give him an A). They may wait till next season to make it official though.
Would be a tough choice, but I would have to say Dubi, because of his style of play... protecting of teammates, etc. On the other hand, he is not playing up to the value of his contract.... still.
