@JoeNYR @ivanricov @slapshot13j
team effort tonight. everybody did their part. hank really did keep us in it though.
Sure. But Rangers D played well tonight, and also excellent forechecking.
@ivanricov no idea just read an article, 3 hurricanes defenseman left with injuries. They said it would definitely require stitches
@slapshot13j He got stitched up and came back out. It looked like he had a new mouth situated right between his nose and upper lip. These guys are tough.
@AnnoyingJoe @slapshot13j just would be Rangers hockey to get these two big points and then lose to them.... classic rangers
@slapshot13j @DuPont_Snotty more like "spilled whatever was in the glass all over the floor and bitching as you go grab a mop to clean it up" guy.
@slapshot13j Ugh... I'm resigned to the fact that you're a glass half-empty type guy... :)
@DuPont_Snotty Maybe, when Callahan is hoisting the Cup, but even then I will still be looking to the next year...
@DuPont_Snotty @slapshot13j I actually dont want him to change... you get used to it...
something must have been in the water tonight, 3 lowest scoring teams in the NHL with 3+ goals...
@AnnoyingJoe banging his stick demanding the puck, passing to hiimself off the boards... gotta love his attitude...
You could make an argument that Stralman has been the MVP of our defense this year.... especially with Staal going down. His breakout year has been key for us
@slapshot13j I wouldn't call this a breakout year, but a pleasant surprise for Strahlman, Mac truck hasn't regressed at all, just started slowly, and before Staal went down, he was our best Dman... but i get your point...
@ivanricov girardi has been our best dman in my mind, mcdonagh second and stralman third. Staal was far and away the number 1 though when healthy
@ivanricov i said defense. MDZ? He hasn't been that good all year, the last two games yes
@AnnoyingJoe @slapshot13j @ivanricov yea i expect it from those two, and if anything mcdonagh has regressed a little bit
@slapshot13j I wasn't debating you I was just saying all those players have stepped up this year and played better than I have expected. Including MDZ. Has looked more mature this year.
@AnnoyingJoe @slapshot13j not saying the best by any means. Just mean that him stepping up has been key, and also I said defense
@AnnoyingJoe @slapshot13j Value.... I cant even imagine how bad the Rangers are if DZ or Eminger is their 3rd dman in staal's absence
