The third and final phase of the MSG transformation has begun in the lobby, here's some video of what it looks like...

...wow! Looks completely unrecognizable. Can't wait for ticket prices to increase again to pay for it!
Here's a pic courtesy of the Rangers Facebook page of Glen Sather and Alain Vigneault with the latest construction inside the arena...
...are those the bridges?
Larry Brooks at the New York Post reports that the Rangers will play the first month of the season on the road to accommodate the final stage of the reconstruction, including a game in Vancouver on their opening swing before making their way back across the continent.
Yeah, ticket prices are getting ridiculous, but I will admit that they've done a pretty nice job with the new renovations thus far.
You think it's expensive now. Just wait till they have to build a whole other arena in 10-15 years. Can you say $150 blue seats?
Sweet, jack up my season ticket prices so you can build ANOTHER MSG Team Store. Just win some God damn hockey games and stop making me poor.
I love the rangers playing the first month on the road. In 2011-2012 it forced them to become a team, and hopefully it does the same again. If the rangers can just manage to stay at 500 until November 1st they would be in a great position coming back to the garden
especially since i just put a deposit down on season tickets lol. might be a huge investment i gotta wait even longer to see
@kmb6790 I thought they scrapped that idea?
NY Rangers are gonna be Road Warriors.
@FREE LINDBERG There is also the possibility that by the time they come home, their season could be over.
I know that I sound pessimistic but decades of failure will do this to a fan.
All the employees were still talking about it at the end of the season unless there was something that I missed in the last few weeks...
@KevinDeLury I attended an MSG event and snapped a couple pictures of a model of what the inside of the stadium will look like (including the bridges). I can email them to you if interested.
@kmb6790 Thanks for the update. Definitely keep us informed.
The last that I heard, they were going to be over the seats and that they would potentially be selling tickets with seats on the bridges. I've also heard that they're having a little trouble engineering them so that they don't block the view from the people in the last rows of the bowl. Gonna be interesting to see. I'll update you if I hear more.
@kmb6790 Yeah I think its still happening based on some of the stuff they've sent to the people with seasons.
