...i think we're going to see a ton of these fan friendly items throughout the year to help ease the fan furor over the lockout. Although, don't expect Torts to ever, under any circumstances, open up practice to the public.

What really has been annoying to me is that the agreement was brokered last Sunday at 5:00 a.m., yet is has taken the NHLPA almost a full week to vote and ratify...contrast that with the 48 hours (or less) that it took them to take a full membership vote to disclaim representation by the union. Should have had all players report on Wednesday and vote with their team rep, and if ratified, start camp on Thursday...any stragglers could have voted by phone or email with their rep...its only 3 days, but those informal sessions could have been more meaningful and beneficial. Most of all, it was a chance to let the fans feel better and see their team on the ice for real. The owners and Bettman have taken their lumps, this one is on the players. Boo.
@BKNY1999 Well they are obviously already taped and they were promoting the McDonagh one a few months ago so assuming that one will be first. If they're smart, they'll air it first week of the season ;-)
@Melissa (angelzeyes2521) @BKNY1999 I don't understand why they would not air the new episode(s) NOW - or this week! Why wait until the games are on - build some excitement and anticipation...we're all chomping at the bit and have been waiting since September, now that "they're back" - give us something to watch other than reruns and the Parise game from 1975...sheesh.
@Melissa (angelzeyes2521) @BKNY1999 I am going to use my insider knowledge (or logic) and say that Wednesday January 23d, before the Bruins game at the Garden is when we will see the first episode of Beginnings. It seems like that's the night they have been airing the Knicks Beginnings segments when I begrudgingly turned on my that channel during the lockout.
@Misha Sapsay @BKNY1999 Before or after that game? Last year they would air right after the post game so they could promote it all game lol. But otherwise that logic makes a lot of sense to me.
