- Tyler Seguin, who had 29g, 38a last season, signed a six-year, $34.5 million contract this off-season.

- The Bruins also gave Milan Lucic a three-year, $18 million extension. Lucic had 26g, 35a, 135 PIM and 201 hits last season.

- Zdeno Chara had a career high 52 points (12g, 40a) last season.

- Patrice Bergeron was a career best +36 last season. He also had 22g, 42a.

- Brad Marchand has 49g, 47a and is a +56 in his first two full seasons in the NHL.

looked pretty ragged out there tonight.  sloppy line changes, out of sync, couldn't sustain a forecheck.  Rangers were in pre-season mode, Bruins looked like a cohesive unit.
