Gaborik, Kreider Make First Appearance at Camp

Here's the glorious proof of Kreider's camp presence (via NY Rangers)...
...with the way Kreider has played for the Whale this season, I'm assuming he couldn't get to Rangers camp quick enough.
...no shock to see Gilroy in camp, who will be an insurance policy in case the Rangers can't get a contract worked out with Del Zotto. Gilroy is having a solid year offensively with the Whale (6g, 9a), but has been brutal on the defensive end (-16). He'll be playing for an NHL contract in camp, so I expect him to raise the level of his game.
After today's session Gaborik addressed the status of his surgically repaired shoulder (via NY Rangers)...
"feels fine, knock on wood...to get back here, it's an exciting time"
...officially giddy.
Also, you might have noticed Kreider's practice jersey has the Rangers crest on it and not the normal Lady Liberty. Apparently, the Rangers have done away with with the very popular logo.
...that's a shame. Was a big fan of Liberty jerseys. An end of an era.

Liberty Logo although well executed is nothing but marketing nonsense to sell more crap. The crest is not only classic but timeless. Regardless, pumped for some Ranger Hockey!!
Didn't hank have one on the other day? Nash too? Anywho, I never minded the lady liberty (beats the hell out of fishsticks) but love th crest and nothing beats the regular jersey
as much as i like the liberty jerseys, i see them as a sign of futility in rangers history. i welcome the shield.
