...i love Torts' reaction to the game. Despite giving up the lead, the only thing Torts cares about is the two points. He knows the Bruins are a good team, his team played hard and there's no reason to dwell on the bad. Counter productive when the team is going so well.
...was that Torts criticizing the linesman at the end of the interview? Looks like they'll be a few less dollars donated to dog shelters by Torts this month.
Here's the players' reaction...
...sounds like the players learned that they're going to give up a lot of third period leads if they continue to sit back and stop skating. Especially against teams as good as the Bruins. Don't anticipate this will be a problem going forward.
@thenyrblog agree 2 points are most imprtnt, but losing that lead is concerning. Shocked Torts didnt use TO after 2nd goal at 3-2. Thoughts?
Why didn't torts use his timeout after their second goal? Could have helped the players, an if nothing else rested them.
Rangers coming together now but we gotta keep our foot on the gas...Granted Boston has some really good forwards that just come at you, but I think we need a little more muscle from the Dee position....Still a good win and a big homestand coming up.......LGR
Hey Kevin are you posting videos differently - they don't seem to show up on my iPhone? FYI - the blog is still the best, and you and your team of writers are doing an awesome job!!!
@JMK8363 For some reason embed code from NHL.com videos do not show up on IPhones and IPads. I try to post as many videos from YouTube but sometimes they're not on there. Sorry. Thanks for your support!
