...love that Torts admitted he didn't know how to pronounce Mashinter's name. Hysterical.
...also liked Torts answer to Prust question that he's just another player in a Canadiens uniform.
Speaking of Brandon Mashinter he talks about his recall here...
...holy crap Mashinter's a big dude.
Here's more from Derek Stepan and Ryan Callahan...

If Mashinter plays well, Brian Boyle will be on the hot seat to get his act together on a consistent basis. Given Boyle's size, he needs to be out there banging and providing the physical presence we need from him. It appears as if Mash is more than wiling to muck it up and I believe Torts will love this kid from the get-go. He is a keeper.
I wouldn't mind seeing Callahan back with Miller and put Mashinter with Richards and Gaborik to have that big presence in front of the net......and also to bang bodies to create room for those two,
@SetYouStraight -- Boyle is on the hot seat, has been on the hot seat, and will never be the physical presence that he could be. He's just not that kind of player. How many years do we need to see the same thing to think it will ever be any different?That said, when he steps it up even a little bit, it does make a difference.
Mash could steal a third line spot, but Boyle is such a natural there for his faceoff prowess.
I'm hoping Mash will help to keep this 4th line relevant. I Love when they get in the neighborhood of 10 minutes. Halpern is coming on, he was playing well with Powe, and Asham is skating pretty well.
@Beckfan5 Bangers and Mash...LOL!
@GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG -- I know Mash loves the sound of that
