Adrian Podpirka creates this interesting video of the travels of a Brad Richards bobble head doll...
...looks like Brad Richards is showing up everywhere but MSG.
H/T to the guys at We Bleed Blue.
Most of this team has now shown up. Watched Philly beat Pittsburgh last night. It was an amazing, high-energy game. The intensity was incredible. The Rangers will have to step it up several notches from current levels to match what I saw, otherwise, they will not make the playoffs or, if they do, will be quickly eliminated.
Is nobody commenting on the video itself? Dude took a Brad Richards bobble head to Mount Everest! People are fuckin nuts.
Also, chill out, Richie will turn it around.
@TheNYRBlog I don't think that. But you can't place the blame for a poor power play UNIT on one player.
@TheNYRBlog he's also perpetually out of his position in his own end ( Carter goal game 5, Henrique winner in game 6).. 7 more years!
@TheNYRBlog So when do we start freaking out about Brad Richards becoming Chris Drury? Is the 20 game mark too soon?
If that speculation doesnt light a fire under him what will. I want him to stay, but not at the cost of young guys like Stepan, McD, Hagelin, Kreider, Miller, etc. Right now I would rather not lose any single one of those guys than keep Richards. Hopefully he turns it around soon and these rumors are put to bed.
@slapshot13j Please don't ever p[ost anything from the Bleacher Report on here again. That website is an absolute joke. Right Wrabel?
@KevinDeLury Really did not know, but I mean this is not a terrible article in theory. I feel that right now it is absurd to say we are buying him out. But if he continues to be this type of player the rest of the year, it has got to AT LEAST be considered.
@KevinDeLury A cap hit of 6.66 million dollars when he is 39 years old, seems to me like it would be an ARod situation for the Rangers, which I really do not want to have to deal with both the Yankees and the Rangers having the same issue...
