The Nash Shootout Goal Just Because
Written by Kevin DeLury on .
Assumed everyone wanted to see this again this morning...
...not sure about you guys, but totally did the Shaquille O'Neal at the NBA Slam Dunk contest face when Nash scored that shootout goal.

...btw, how great is Bruins announcer Jack Edwards. "Rick Nash, with as many moves as Tarzan with 60 yards of rope" & "That's not fair!" Awesome stuff.
Here's Nash on the move (via Bergen Record)...
“Yeah, it was obviously what I planned. Coming in with speed, try to sell a move and hopefully he bites and that time he did."
Oh yeah, Nash also did this last night...
...in a word...Nashty.
...saw lots of criticisims out there of Nash's "selfish" third period penalty that started the Bruins run. While it did look like Nash was angry with Lucic and was going after him, I'm sorry that was a weak ass call by the refs.

Nash is worth every penny, roster spot, draft pick, etc. the man is absolutely a human highlight real. The Michael Jordan of hockey haha maybe Hags can be his Scotty Pippen...only he's hopefully a better tipper.
I wish hags would tighten the strap on his bucket. Hope he's not the next concussion. He's really getting hot.
@_Jack torts should walk up and poke him in the eyes with the way he wears his visor too.
I love it!! People need to chill about penalty in 3rd and get over it. He is complete package playing great but fans are upset b/c he doesn't have 10 goals. Get a grip people!
Jack Edwards is a great announcer, but those two together are such homers it's difficult to listen to. I liked Edwards a lot when he used to do ESPN games, back when ESPN actually showed hockey.
Sick goal by Nash! check out left leg of Rask after Nash goal. It's like it's stucked. lol
Being there in person it was hardly a 'weak' call. Nash had been hounding Lucic for 10-15 sec prior and Im shocked he didnt get a penalty earlier.
Nash was following Lucic around the ice trying to get in his face... not sure why.
The hook itself mightve been weak, but Nash probably deserved an interference penalty well before that.,
That was my thought but if you actually watch, he was really just following him in his face, very little contact. Not surprised or upset with the call, but a little weak IMO
Live I thought that it was definitely a hook on Nash, but after they kept showing it, he just had his stick "parallel" to the ice, not even using it. Very weak in my opinion.
Also, missed hand pass on Horton's goal, although a lot of bodies around so that one was forgiveable
Daaaaaamn! I knew there was something I loved about that guy! Time to go buy a jersey!
In all honesty I thought lucic looked like a wuss for not fighting there. I thoght we were going to get to see Nash fight and stand up for himself and Gaborik, but instead lucic didn't bite...
@slapshot13j Did you seriously want to see our superstar fight an enforcer? Are you retarded?
@Andrew794 @slapshot13j @Zelrio John Scott could be had for another one of our 5th round picks haha
@slapshot13j @Zelrio Granted Nash is a big guy and can take care of himself...youtube some of Lucic's fights and maybe that'll change your perspective? We still need a tough guy (Bickel doesn't count and Mcilrath won't be here till until next season and as a rookie can't be called upon to fight everyone) We need our Colton Orr or Derek Boogard for the occasional rough game
@slapshot13j I am totally fine with Lucic not pummeling one of our players...the guys a bit of a dick but he's tougher then anyone on our team currently..
@Andrew794 I don't know Nash is a tough guy, and I don't think anyone wants to mess with mcdonagh
@slapshot13j @Andrew794 Lucic is a goon that can score, last thing I would want to see is a star player get in a fight with him.
And McDonagh? Please see exhibit A:
