Looks like the Rangers weren't quite as good on faceoffs tonight:

Richards, 7 of 15 (47&); Stepan 9 of 20 (45%); Boyle, 9 of 18 (50%); Halpern 2 for 2 (100%)

Haven't heard much about Pyatt lately. How is he playing?

I had to miss the game, but super psyched for the win. I've read about it, and I await the highlight videos. Glad Stepan managed to net one again, and amazed at the unique game Hagelin is putting together. Sounds like Nash was pretty good tonight, right? What else did I miss?

Seems like we go into a shell in the last 5 every time we have a lead. Other than that and the first minute hard fought game, and the pp looked better today, actually moved the puck in the third

Was it PP #3 that Stepan scored ?

That looked like something from NHL13 that shouldn't be humanely possible in real life!

@slapshot13j not bad for a 6th round pick.

@AnnoyingJoe  @slapshot13j  -- sometimes it looks so easy. He's the beneficiary, but only after getting in position. His unusual speed allows him to get there to the surprise of his opponents, while his teammates seem to know where to find him more and more often.

@AnnoyingJoe  @slapshot13j  ... likewise, while he's not tough along the boards, his speed allows him to protect the puck and make plays along the boards.

Hagelin is the only forward earning his pay right now.

Let's hope Powe isn't hurt too badly...shit that didn't look good.

The worst thing Torts can do is keep Asham and Halpern on the bench completely now that Powe is out. Asham maybe isn't as important but Halpern has looked good and I'd feel better with him out playing than him on the bench doing nothing.

@JoshKaye I can't get over what a good skater Asham is.

We should be in 31st place in the NHL on the powerplay

they have no idea what to do in their defensive zone, complete role reversal in the team....

@slapshot13j already chicken little? It's one goal.

@cb1  @AnnoyingJoe i think he has been a lot better than Richards who I would argue is the worst player on the Rangers right now because he is also always on the ice.  Richards does absolutely nothing, I'd rather have Drury...
