On Friday, Henrik Lundqvist spoke with Michael Kay of ESPN Radio about the Rangers early season struggles and his performance till this point...
Here's Lundqvist's best line of the interview...
"I think I've been ok, but ok doesn't win hockey games."
...the guy is a winner and this early season unevenness must be eating him up inside. But I tell you what, a win today and I think the Rangers will take off. A loss and all the questions about what's wrong with this team come back.
A win today is good, but a win on Tuesday against Boston In their arena, and I think the Rangers start to get some of their swagger back.
@JMK8363 Consistency is key right now.
@MiddleSwine I wouldn't say bad, but not up to par. He addresses his performance in the interview as well.
@KevinDeLury lets pray that delzaster doesn't rear his ugly head and give up too many odd man rushes / breakaways!!
@TheNYRBlog ah ok that's good. My issue with him is that whenever he's bad, announcers and pundits always look for someone else to blame.
