The Rangers added that with Johnson taking #47, J.T. Miller has switched to #10
Also of note, with there being two Moores (Dom and John) on the team this season, John will have "J. Moore" on the back of his jersey.
...can't believe the Rangers allowed someone to wear Eminger's jersey number so soon after cutting ties with him. lol
...and let's hope Miller doesn't play as soft as the last guy who wore #10. Although, replicating his goal scoring would be nice.
...assuming it's going to be emotional for Moore to wear that number. Glad it was available. Although if anyone was currently wearing it, I'm sure they would have had no problem giving it up for Moore.
God we're such fiends for hockey if this is what we do at work haha. I'm trying to contain myself but I cant....season.....must.....start.......
I'm so excited for this year! lets get training camp going!!! I am trying to keep myself occupied with other things because its such a waste of time to follow the 68th interview on Ryan Callahan's shoulder, but I just keep coming back to the Rangers! I thought I'd try to divert my attention by recording some songs but subcontiously I recorded a cover night ranger "sister christian", the lone ranger theme, and the misfits "I wanna be a New York Ranger"! (ok only the misfits one was true). but the point remains...DROP THE FRIGGIN PUCK!!!
I can't believe that Eminger was even allowed to wear #44, since it should have been retired after the great Per Djoos! I see this as a good omen though, cause look at Falk's Twitter name: JUICERfalk. Coincidence? I let you be the judge.
Going to be interesting to see these new players.Really into the Rangers this year b/c everything seems so solid and well thought out.-so many many years of building and development to reach this point.
Kevin,no need to worry about Miller ever playing soft, I just wonder if he can make the roster out of training camp b/c there is so much great competition even with the extra spots of Cally and Hags.
@farlands20121 I think he starts the season down with the Whale and ends up being a mid-season call-up.
I saw on another site that he is being projected to see 14 games this year. to be honest I think that is extremely low balled. I think he will be more in the 30-40 game range.
