...great point by Torts bringing up the fact that it was a big win considering the Rangers recent travel. First game at home after a long road trip is always tough.
...man that Broadway Hat is destroyed. I love it!!!!

Important win against a good team..Rangers came out just about even with TO these two games, that shows Rangers have a good team. How Lundqvist plays determines the Rangers. When he's off they lose, when he's on they win.On to next game.
Every game is a must win now.Hope they can hang in until Staal is back and playing well. That will boost the team talent for the playoffs.with Staal back at peak performance,my only concern about this team not going deep again is Tort's coaching.Gotta adapt to things in the game.
Gotta say, when I see these interviews and realize the tremendous youth this club has, I get goosebumps! Has Sather signed Charlise Lundqvist yet to a lifetime contract...she's gotta have at least some of her dad's ability, right?
might be alone here but did anyone else think Torts juggling the lines was a good thing last night? Phaneuf was just having his way with Nash and Torts had to find a way to get his stars on the ice when Phaneuf wasn't, maybe he wanted to confuse Randy Carlyle?
@PenaltySh0t I think the line juggling thing has been beaten to death. It's the way Torts does things and it's not going to change no matter how much all the couch coaches complain about it! If he sees a combo lacks energy, he changes them up to gain a spark. If he sees other coaches matching, he changes them up. It's part of his coaching style. He typically doesn't implode an entire line, it's usually 1 person switching out. I just don't see it as a big deal.
To answer your question, I think it was a good thing last night, but I think it's a necessary thing every night because John Tortorella has coached a few more games than I ever have and he knows what's going on in game better than anyone else outside the glass.
@gravey94 @PenaltySh0t I understood what Torts was doing last night, but I'd still rather he'd stick with one line-up and go with it. Obviously sometimes you need some in game adjustments, but Torts had the last change so he had plenty of opportunities to get the match-ups he wanted. Having said that, they won, so I'm happy.
