Late night recap up: http://www.nyrangersblog.com/2013-articles/april/rangers-6-panthers-1.html
Oscar Lindberg won the SEL championship tonight... congrats to that kid, can't wait to see great things from him in a Blueshirt next year
Moore's fight was the highlight of an otherwise passionless, albeit high-scoring, game. I know FLA is terrible but you'd think after last game, not to mention being in 9th, we'd come out flying. It's hard to believe we're only one year removed from last year's team. On a positive note Moore's fight did give us a lift, maybe we carry that over to a worthy opponent tomorrow night.
so we all ragged on richards for not doing well for so long. and now that he does, despite who he is playing against, so many people here tonight gave him shit. wow. make up your mind.
what kind of terrible coach says this about any player... im sorry but this my friends is an absolute mockery to coaching. How do you expect a kid to play well when his coach gives him this kind of backing? If torts stays Kreider should be traded if this is how he is going to be traded.... but I think it should be the other way around ....
an awake richards would be most welcome.
Rangers beat the mighty Panthers, will they ever lose again @AnnoyingJoe
@Rex_Havok We kinda did come out flying, though. We scored really early, but I get what you're saying regardless.
@Rex_Havok I don't agree it was totally passionless. Rangers had their stretches of inspired play, but the Moore fight was certainly the highlight; and NY cannot keep playing like that and expect to go anywhere this year. A good team would have smoke them tonight.
@Hotfreak In any case I hope Gabby helps them make the playoffs. Those division games next year are going to be great.
@IcyCup He did better at the end, but admittedly, I was definitely yelling at him for a few things early on in the game.
@Josh6 I think you're overreacting. I saw the interview -- Tortorella doesn't think this is a good situation for the prospects to play in because he can't give them the margin to make mistakes. The stakes are too high.
I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with him, but he's not dissing Kreider.
@tygalpin rangers wooooo! slightly? booooo!
Wow....a Boondock Saints Squirrel!!
@GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG are you watching EVERYONE ON THE TEAM?
@GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG brass rackwards. or malkincookies idk
@GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG they should have both of them watch tape on Stepan...
@Josh6 so negative. you can feel no joy.
@jmacwilli a week and half, is the rough estimate
@jmacwilli he should be back next season when the rest of the team shows up
@Josh6 whos richards
@cb1 whos richards
@IcyCup with what?
@AnnoyingJoe is that fps russia? funny.
@Rex_Havok Agreed. I wish Gabs well.
So far the trade looks good for us, though. Brassard has new life. Moore has great potential, it seems. And I can't wait to see what Dorsett can do for us.
@PenaltySh0t @GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG smallest guy on the ice and he's the only one crashing the net?!? Hello - anyone else on the team watching?
@GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG and have all 3 learn how to win a face-off
@Josh6 "that's the last youll hear from richards" or some shit like that. admit when you are wrong.
@IcyCup fair, lets see what he does tomorrow against a playoff potential team before we go making such bold claims
