The Rangers have a few avenues to clinch a playoff spot, but from the players' reaction there's only one way they want to get in...
Rick Nash (via Daily News)...
"We’re not scoreboard watching. It’s in our hands, so we want to win and get in."
Steve Eminger (via Blueshirts United)...
"We control our own destiny, which is all you can ask for. Just win a game. That's all. I know the guys are all geared up and positive, and there's absolutely nothing that is behind us that matters now."
"You'd rather be in our situation than be on the outside looking in, hoping and wishing. We can just focus on ourselves and focus on our game, and just take care of business here tonight."
...it has been baffling to watch this team play without emotion and passion at critical points this season, but if they can't get themselves fired up for tonight they have no business putting on that Blueshirt.
...i'm ready to run through a wall and I'm just going to be watching the game in my den.
No lineup changes for #NYR as Henrik Lundqvist makes 13th straight start in goal tonight— New York Rangers (@NYRangers) April 25, 2013
Agree. If they are flat tonight then they don't deserve the post season. That said, I expect them to come out flying. Only wild card is the Stall brothers x 3 sideshow. Wish we had our own Stall brother in the game but we should have all the pieces to compete hard tonight! Get-It-Done!
If the rangers win tonite, they don't have to worry about Devil game...the Devils will surely play spoilers if they lose tonite!
People at work know not to come into my room tonight - can only watch a live stream on my laptop, but man I'm not gonna get much done
Its a shame that I'm not sitting on the glass tonight. If they saw me about ready to knock the glass over, maybe I could inspire them.
