Listening to Torts....
Sam: John, what do you feel was the difference tonight?
Torts: The most important part of the game is when we tied it 3-3. We didn't play with it. We can't have a breakdown like that two shifts after we tie the game......."
Run and hide DZ...run and hide...lol ..Coach will be looking for you
http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2013/04/08/woops-ducks-fans-boo-nick-instead-of-justin-schultz/ this is pretty fun. Maybe it could lighten the mood in here haha
If the playoffs started today we would play Montreal. Wouldn't that be fun playing in the Bell Centre.
Disappointing to not get a point out of this one. Once we tied it I really thought they would pull it off. Hopefully they'll come back with a strong effort Wed night
BTW... anyone notice how Rinne and Quick (last years Vezina competition) have fallen off the face of the planet? Hank is still on top. One hit wonders?
@McPhee37 bet you he plays 20 minutes wednesday with 2 assists and a plus 3.... Just another day with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde on ice
@AnnoyingJoe lol, not into this louisville game?
@GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG and there is nothing wrong with the mood in here... it's out there where the sky is falling thats a problem...
@GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG like rangers booing boyle only to realize it was a bag of pucks on the ice...
@ivanricov anyone but them, I would rather play Pitt, yep I said it. That team is the equivalent of the plague to us...
we gotta win eventually in montreal right? last year we were pretty terrible against Ottawa and managed to beat them in a 7 game series so anything is possible. I think Boston is gonna end up in the 2nd spot personally.
If that's true....HUGE!!
@ivanricov rinne has not fallen off, his team just blows...
I'm sure he comes out and plays a strong game. I feel for the kid. Probably still sitting at his locker...feeling like crap...because there was 2 points sitting there waiting to be taken....we tie the game...and he gets caught horrifically out of position on the game winner.
And he still has Torts to deal with....lol
@ATCRyan I like playing Boston. Those are some good games.
@McPhee37 we have to get in, but if he comes back that is bigger than huge... what a lift that would be
@ivanricov but i guess you could say the same for hank :(
@Josh6 well, his stats say otherwise...but out of the two i think Rinne is still good.
@ivanricov @GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG @icy and he totally manned up and took on the chicken little avatar so give him many likes
Yeah I like that matchup a lot. I'd be a lot more confident going into that series against boston than montreal.
@Josh6 4th fewest goals allowed. Rangers have been good in front of him and he has been good behind them. Stats don't lie... Bob has been good too...
@ivanricov bobrovsky, and no they havent been scoring goals all year, until recently... the team has been pretty piss poor in front of him all year up until recently
@Josh6 Oh.... lol it's only one game man... but I guess you are just here to fill the void Slapshot left. And I thank you for that.
@Josh6 This year it will be between Rask and Lundqvist for Vezina.
@ivanricov i was talking about the team in front of him, and unfortunately those went down significantly tonight
@Josh6 Hell no.. he is 2nd in save% and 6th in GAA
