Also talking after yesterday's second day of informal practices was Chris Kreider, who spoke to Andrew Gross at the Bergen Record about his game right now...

“I think I feel stronger, faster."

...from the pictures and video I've seen of Kreider this off-season it looks like he hit the gym hard, which should allow him to compete at a much higher level against bigger and stronger players this season.

Kreider did admit his shot isn't where it needs to be...

“I can’t put it where I want it. I have a weird release. It’s probably coming off the stick weird.”

...these interviews should be getting me fired up, instead they're pissing me off knowing, instead of hockey, a lockout is right around the corner.
