NHL Cancels Remainder of Preseason
The NHL announced today that they have canceled the remaining preseason schedule.
Last week the NHL had canceled all September preseason games.
Rangers games affected include:
10/4 - @ Islanders
10/6 - vs. Avalanche in Kansas City
10/8 - @ Kings

...seriously though, WTF.
In other lockout news, Jason Brough at Pro Hockey Talk reports that the NHL and NHLPA have added two additional days to Friday's CBA negotiations, as they will now meet for the entire weekend.
Don't get too excited as Steve Zipay at Newsday adds that the focus of the added days will remain on non core economic issues.
...if the NFL and their refs can get it done, so can the NHL. Right?
