In an interview with Jesse Connolly at the Hockey Journal, Chris Kreider discussed his highlight of the Rangers playoff run last year...
"I’d have to say the two overtime wins over the Capitals, with Marian Gaborik scoring the winner in triple overtime in Game 3 down in Washington and then Marc Staal scoring in the first overtime in Game 5 back home. It was pretty crazy. Games like that you’ll always remember."
...us too Chris, us too. Not a bad way to start your NHL career. Let's hope the second chapter of that career starts sooner rather that later.
...really excited to see him continue to develop this season with the Whale. No doubt he'll be a better player no matter what the outcome of the lockout because of his time with the Whale this year.
Kreider also discusses John Tortorella being a yeller and Henrik Lundqvist being the toughest goaltender he has faced among other topics.
Well at least Kreider will be able to develop his game now. His vision of the overall game will improve greatly. All the kids that came through the Whale show great ability in their own zone.
