A New York Rangers Guys' Night Out

Written by James Wrabel on .

According to the New York Post's Page Six column, the New York Rangers engaged in a "team bonding" exercise over the weekend. Newbie to New York Jeff Halpern was treated to a night out with the boys by teammates Marian Gaborik, Michael Del Zotto, Steve Eminger and Carl Hagelin.

Here's the rundown of what they did:

..."They had dinner at Bagatelle in the Meatpacking District. They then walked over to The Darby on 14th Street. On the way, the athletes were stopped by girls on the street but told them they were having a night for the bros.”…

** I wonder if one of the stops along the way was Tiny's & the Bar Upstairs.

** No invite for Torts? I bet he could drink all the Rangers players under the table.

They're not just sitting around. They rent a rink and practice.

And believe me, if Gaborik wasn't injured, he wouldn't be sticking around either...

Gotta agree with Adam here! Who's gonna be in better hockey shape...the guy who's actually playing or the guy who "practices" and then goes out at night? Way too much emphasis on this team chemistry stuff.

At least they are sticking together, that's a team which will grow into a champion.

hes busy scoring hat tricks...i'd rather see the rangers playing then having a guys night out. casual hockey = injury prone

Early on Nash is all about himself. Great way to start his Rangers career.

HAHA torts probably could. And I like how flocks of women just come up to them...I wish that happened to me..
