NY Rangers Had No Issue with Islanders Move to Brooklyn

Written by James Wrabel on .

... Why would the Rangers have an issue with it? Now this will give them 3 areans for their fans to sell out.

I also filmed a YouTube video sharing my thoughts on the Isles move to Brooklyn. With the right moves, development from John Tavares and other young players and the allure of playing in New York, the Islanders could be set up real nicely for the 2015-16 season.

Completely agree with your opinion on Dipietro.  He has been the scar of that franchise for years now.  What do you think about Jack Capuano?  Not entirely sold on the fact that an unproven coach with no prior head coaching experience in the NHL can turn this franchise around.

@GaboriksRelease He's a good coach. Don't know the inner workings of the Isles, but I would imagine he's not the answer down the road. Could be wrong.

The NY Rangers were helping the Islanders stay on the Island along with the Devils.

They have an agreement with each other that the Islanders could move anywhere as long as its on the Island itself. Too bad for the County now that will lose 50+ million dollars in revenue. A new arena would have created more revenue, alot more and up to 200+ annual jobs. GOOD JOB VOTERS
