Nov. 20th Possible D-Day for Winter Classic; Likely Season

Written by Kevin DeLury on .

...the one glimmer of hope the lockout optimists have held on to is the Winter Classic. They say the NHL would never risk losing that cash cow. Well there you go folks. November 20th is your deadline.

...and if the NHL & NHLPA are willing to flush its defining game down the toilet then you have to assume they'll have no problem doing it to the entire season. So in a little over a month this could all be over.

If they allow the Winter Classic to be played, then us fans will know why they are allowing it to happen. MONEY! What we could do as fans is simply NOT SHOW UP to the game, which means NO MONEY will be spent and the league will suffer for their stupidity. This is the only way for us to be taken seriously.

This is why the league doesnt get the same respect as the other professional sports. I love the NHL but they seriously need to cut the BS and stop with the lockouts. Its retarded.
