The NHL has announced that it has cancelled the 2012-13 regular-season schedule through October 24.
Rangers games canceled include:
10/12 - @ Kings
10/15 - @ Sharks
10/17 - @ Devils
10/19 - @ Sabres
10/23 - @ Lightning
...(facepalm).

NHL and NHLPA haven't scheduled another bargaining session. Good chance talks don't get going again before next week.

As a Rangers fan living in the San Jose area I am very disappointed. I had the Sharks opening night vs Rangers circled on my calendar for months....
Absolutely disgusting that it has come to this! Get it together already! It's getting hard to even muster up empathy for the players anymore...
