Brandon Prust, Boomer Esiason Engage in Twitter Spat
If you were trolling around Twitter last night, you may have seen former Rangers forward Brandon Prust and former Bengals & Jets QB Boomer Esiason—a die hard Rangers fan himself—mouthing off at one another on Twitter, which has become the seen for many kindergarten-like playground fights over the years.
It all started when Prust mentioned he finished playing 36 holes at Beth Page Black and Esiason responded to it. The thread can be seen here.
Prust fired one last shot by saying this:
Don't want to disrespect @7boomeresiason But I did wear my heart on my sleeve for this city n the NYR for 3 years. Maybe he could show some

Esiason responded two more times to that tweet which can be seen here.
... Twitter can be a great source of inside information & news (from the right sources of course) in an age where we demand it instantaneously. It's also a place were sarcasm is severely misplaced and incidents like this happen.
... Esiason is one of the biggest NYR fans there is, and I can guarantee he meant no malice with his comments to Prust, who I thought had a better sense of humor than that.

I was listening to his show this morning and Boomer explained that he was just joking by that tweet but prust took it the wrong way

Unfortunately Prusts right. Boomers show sucks. But the only reason it sucks is because he let's craigy call the shots. Booms needs to step up his game and tell Craig to shut up. Boomer should go it alone. Craig just shouts crap and talks over people. I hate that. Also the dude hates on hockey all the time until it's the playoffs and he has to talk about it. He's a freaking shmuck. I love Boomer but he's gotta cut ties with Craig if he wants to be true to himself and talk some hockey.
@GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG You realize its all an act by Carton, right? Once you get past that, the show's actually entertaining. I listen every morning and I don't have any issues.
@TheWrage Act or no act, he still speaks over hockey any time it gets mentioned. For Boomer to be such a huge Rangers fan it's gotta really kill him to not talk hockey. Also I feel bad for the people who hangout on hold for hours only to get on the radio to have Craig totally disregard anything they say for no reason. I'm sure a ton of people love the show. It's a very popular program, but my opinion is that it's a prett hard listen and Boomer would be better off with someone else.
