...said the other day that Talbot will be Hank's backup when Biron's contract is over, but if there's a season, he might the take that position this year.
...big goal for Thomas, who seems to be getting more comfortable and gaining confidence in the pro game.
...not the greatest night for Kreider.
...Marek Hrivik is still looking for his first goal of the season, after scoring five in nine playoff games last year.
...Gilroy is quietly having a great start to the season. 2g, 2a with 28 shots on goal in eight games, plus a shootout winner. He's also a combined +5 in his last four games.
Where are you guys able to watch the AHL games. I have Directv and I don't know where to start looking?
I was there, Kreider got screwed on 3 of those 4 penalties...he got called for a cross-check after he pushed a guy out of the goal crease after the whistle blew because the guy was digging at Talbot. Gernander was obviously pissed at the officiating too, so the blame shouldn't be directed totally at Kreider.
Also, Gilroy is the man. He does the "little" things so flawlessly. I'm glad he's back with the organization.
