...do I really have to praise Brodeur, Clarkson and Carcillo for participating in this game? I guess I'll swallow my pride and do it. Great job by all the players participating.
...having said that, I wouldn't mind if Girardi finally avenged Gaborik with a thorough beat down of Carcillo.
Obviously big time props to Brad Richards, who, according to Elliotte Friedman at CBC Sports, might have already won the King Clancy Award for "leadership qualities on and off the ice" this season, for his charitable work post Hurricane Sandy. You know, if there is a season.

I was going to wear my lunqvist WC jersey before he was even playing. now it will be fun to chant marrrrrrrrrrrrtyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy lol
even fatso has feelings good for him for playing! we should all be together when it comes to a disaster! we are all americans. well most of us as many nhl'ers arent lol
Brodeur has a house here in Florida. About 2 weeks after they were eliminated him & his family walked into my fiancee's hair salon. On purpose she kept on calling him Henrik and when he was in her chair he turned to his son. My fiancé told him "if you move 1 more time I'm carving a NYR symbol in your head". He had a great sense of humor. Great guy / great dad too.
I'll be in attendance and when someone scores on Brodeur (notice it's not an if) hopefully we'll be able to get the "MAAAARRTTYYY" chant going. Gotta feel the competitive edge somehow, right?
@TheNYRBlog no worries! We #NYR fans forgive you for the sake if the cause! Well, at least I do. #Sandy
ANy news on if this will be broadcasted in anyway? I think i saw that some radio was going to cover it, but a video feed would be ideal lol
@JohnSikulaIII the espn radio station in atlantic city is broadcasting the game online... probably will have a philly slant though, better than nothing
