Hagelin Returns to New York to Rehab Injured Shoulder
Alex Nunn at Pro Hockey News reports that Carl Hagelin returned to New York to recab his injured shoulder and is likely to miss the entire month of November for Södertälje.
Larry Brooks at the New York Post adds that Hagelin does not need surgery on the shoulder. Per rules of the NHL lockout is is not allowed to rehab with Rangers trainers.
...really enjoy blogging about Rangers players leaving for Europe and getting injured. Exactly what I was hoping for when I decided to restart the blog. Ugh.

AMEN. Chris, I don't think many people are bashing the line workers. To me the blame falls squarely on LIPA management. Keep up the great work. We appreciate what you're doing more than you know.
I am a huge RANGER fan and been playing hockey since i was 4yrs old. And still at 41 play some pick up games when i can. I live on Long Island work for National Grid 16hr days 7 days a week now for 15 straight so far. It is total devastation here as well as S.I. , Jersey Far Rockaway. I have season tickets and honestly I could care less about the NHL, the players and their lockout. Right now its about picking up the pieces and getting the Tri-State area back on its feet. If anyone has been working in these areas let alone living in their houses without heat, electric, hot water you know what i mean. Hockey? Rangers? Please.. I did a special with my brother during winter classic. We are die hards. But what we need right NOW is for the Rangers organization to step up and donate time and money to all the loyal Ranger fans that have stuck with them when we sucked! Where are these million dollar players now? Europe?? Help out at home where you were MADE!! Hockey who cares..cancel season, i want my $12k back so i can help out some people in need. And i would actually like to see my wife and kids again sometime soon. People bashing US the workers when it should be on management and Cuomo!!! Sorry to vent like this but im tired of hearing about NHL greed and negotiations going no where in the midst of tragedy.
Don't worry so much. It's not like Hags or any Ranger is going to miss any NHL games this year if they get injured somewhere else in the world!!
