A Second Hurricane Sandy Charity Game in Central Park?

Written by Kevin DeLury on .

Randy Miller at USA Today reports that a second Operation Hat Trick Hurricane Sandy charity hockey game could be in the works. The possible location? Central Park...

"Put up a bunch of temporary seating there and maybe 20,000 fans show up for a great cause, perhaps a lot more."

Former Flyer Todd Fedoruk, who helped organized the first game in Atlantic City, responded this way to the idea...

"Central Park? I like that idea!"

...this absolutely has to happen. It would be unbelievable. Assuming a lot more players would be interested after the success of the Atlantic City game.

Someone needs to tweet the Donald about this game. It could happen. I hear he's quite the active tweeter.

that would be awesome-Atlantic City was a success and everyone in attendance had a blast-for one night fans put the rivalry aside and were as one for two great reason-to help those in need and to show the players we support them and want to see them back on the ice

Trump's organization operates Wollman Rink in Central Park, so why not have the Donald put that $5M bounty he offered to the President up to get this game going and raise even more for the Sandy victims!  Come on Donald, it will be da biggest and the da best hockey game ever played.  Hell, he can even coach the Rangers side!!

If I go to this one too I am NOT leaving early and missing the players like I did in AC. LOL

That would be great, we had so much fun in AC, it was so good to watch them play and they all looked like they were having a good time too.
