Rangers 3, Devils 0

The New York Rangers defeated the New Jersey Devils by the score of 3-0 in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Finals matchup. The Rangers lead the series 2-1. For a recap and box score go to Yahoo! Sports.
...if there was any Rangers fans who still didn't think this was a year of destiny, you do after this game because the Rangers had absolutely no business winning today.
...and the one and only reason for that victory was Henrik Lundqvist. Who for the first two periods, was the only Ranger who didn't hit the snooze button this morning. He's getting stronger as the playoffs roll on.
...i'd give Torts credit for the early second period timeout, but the Rangers were playing so poorly their game really couldn't have gotten worse.
...if Lundqvist was the #1 star of the game, the penalty kill was #2.
...i think at this point Torts needs to find a way to double shift Kreider all game long.
...looks like the benching didn't get through to Gaborik.
...i usually hate Girardi on the power play, but not today.
...another under the radar play by Mitchell leads to a big Rangers goal.
...not even sure why Torts dresses a sixth defenseman at this point, as Eminger gets just five minutes of ice time in place of Bickel.
...Rangers two best periods in this series have been third periods. So much for all the tired talk.
...with the way Shanny's been treating the Rangers this postseason expect Prust to be suspended for Game 4, maybe even Game 5. Not that Prust has been doing much anyway. Wonder if Zucc would get the call or Bickel at forward?
...even with an injured hand, Cally can score that one.
...funny how easy it is to forget how brutal Rangers were in first two periods after they win.
...McDonagh is easily an under the radar Conn Smythe candidate.
...off tomorrow than Game 4 back at the Rock on Monday night.
