Kreider Headed to Frozen Four...Dammit!

Written by Kevin DeLury on .

kreiderbcLast night, Chris Kreider (2009 - 1st) and Boston College defeated Minnesota Duluth 4-0 to advance to the Frozen Four where they will play Minnesota in a national semi-final on April 5th in Tampa Bay.

Kreider was scoreless with two shots on goal and a +1.

The Rangers final game of the regular season is on April 7th, meaning even if Boston College loses on the fifth it is very doubtful Kreider will be able to play a regular season game with the Rangers.

...congrats to Kreider, I guess.

...the fact that Kreider won't have a chance to get his feet wet in the pro game before the playoffs makes it that much less likely the Rangers will sign him. Probably headed to Whale.

The New York Times has more on Kreider here.
