- Those arent boos, those are chants for "Beuuuuk." It's great having the last true smash-mouth, hard-hitting Rangers defenseman Beukeboom back with the organization. Interested to see what he has to say and what his approach will be with the young Blueshirts defenseman.
Meanwhile, Stu Bickel offers his candid thoughts on the Summer Olympics, including Pierre McGuire doing interviews with water polo players.
I love that NBC has Pierre covering water polo. Waiting to see him doggy paddle up to a player for an in-game interview.— Stu Bickel (@StuBickel) July 31, 2012
- If Pierre knows where every single water polo player went to college/high school, then I'd be officially creeped out. I wonder if he tells them to "have fun" at the end of each interview.
The London Olympic Committee requested Pierre cover Water Polo as part of their contract with NBC. The made NBC send him over a week early to help them get ready. They put in the middle of the empty water polo pool with a picture of Crosby and were able to fill the pool in a matter of minutes with his slobber.
Not really - bummed that I didn't. I was looking and I thought it was him he was only a few feet away but he looked too short. Finally I just called out his name and he was like "yeah" as if to say "it's me" then he walked away with his amazing beautiful girl. When I saw her I knew it was him. I was hoping I'd see him later on but didn't happen. Truth, I wanted to talk to him but wouldn't mind seeing her again.
Im not on twitter so I dont know a lot about it. But does Stu Bickle really need the blue check? Are there people impersonating him?
@HJB91 Still pretty cool to see him though.
@HJB91 Did you get to talk with him?
@GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG You'd be surprised. It's just a good thing to know at least it's the right Stu Bickel. Wouldn't want to talk to Stew Pickels by accident.
@TheWrage i would definitely want to talk to stew pickles hes probably of drinking age now. dude would be a total chick magnet.
