...i don't even think the Flyers need a stud defenseman to match-up better with the Rangers. All they need is a competent goaltender. I know the Flyers are stuck with Mr. Universe for the next seven years at $5.67 million per. But if the new CBA has an amnesty clause they'd be smart to dump Bryzgalov and find the competent netminder that has eluded this franchise for so long.
...the advantage the Rangers have in goal with Lundqvist will be enough to offset any addition the Flyers make to their team whether it be at forward or defense. It almost wasn't fair last season.

Holy crap. I just got home from work and turned on some Olympics and they have women's handball on. I've never seen this it's like soccer but with your hands...I think I played this in kindergarten gym class...
@GLENsatherVSglennDANZIG its actually a pretty violent sport and very popular in europe... its hard to play... and fun.

Speaking of goalies does anyone else think this is the year that the Rangers pick a goalie high in the draft?

There's not a goalie in this humangous big universe that is going to help the Flyers in the forseeable future. The Blueshirts will continue to own them and their crybaby coach this coming season too.
Not sure where they are actually going to get a goalie. Unless Holmgren gives up a good chunk of their youth for Luongo, their goaltending woes will continue for the foreseeable future. There are a bunch of #1s that are UFAs next year, but I doubt they make it to the market. Tough cheese wiz Philly!
The Flyers are kinda screwed...I mean if they get Bobby Ryan what are they going to give up? They are kinda thin in depth, if they give up any offensive depth not to mention defensive depth for one guy they are really gonna be sunk.
