- Kris Letang will return to the Penguins line-up for the first time since suffering a concussion on November 26th.

- Sidney Crosby is still out indefinitely with a concussion.

- Evgeni Malkin is tied for the NHL lead with 52 points. He has 13 goals and 15 assists in his last 17 games.

- Marc-Andre Fleury is 6-8-3 with a 3.37 goals-against average lifetime at MSG.

- Jordan Staal is out until some time in February with a torn MCL he received from a collision with Mike Rupp during the teams' last meeting.
