Dupont Excited About Call Up

Mitch Beck over at Howlings was able to catch up with Brody Dupont before he headed to Carolina to meetup with the Rangers before tonight's game.

Dupont had this to say about adapting to his new surroundings...

"There are a lot of familiar faces there for me (Dale Weise, Kris Newbury, Mats Zuccarello, Ryan McDonagh) so it will help me with the butterflies, but I'm sure I'll be nervous."

According to Beck, Dupont, a Rangers 2005 third round pick, has been playing exceptionally well the past couple of weeks with four goals and three assists in his last ten games.

...every prospect who's been recalled has been ready to play so there's no reason to think Dupont won't excel tonight.
