Blueshirts United

If you live in New York you might have noticed the new Rangers ads on the blog promoting their fan community Blueshirts United. The Rangers have really been pushing this social network lately as I've heard numerous promos on the radio.

Basically what the Rangers have put together is a Facebook for Rangers fans. It allows those who sign-up to post Blueshirts videos and photos and join discussion groups to talk Rangers.

Those who join will also receive a pre-sale of 2011 playoff tickets and access to not only alumni and current players, but also to Ranger events, Ranger practices, and other events in the Ranger community.

I'm a member and it's actually pretty cool.
