McIlrath Suffers Another Knee Injury

Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park reports that Dylan McIlrath (2010 - 1st) sat out last night with what is being called a "lower body injury".

Rubenstein says he can confirm that the injury is to his knee.

Moose Jaw Coach Dave Hunchak said on the Moose Jaw pregame show that "McIlrath was hurt after a blind side hit which tweaked his knee."

McIlrath, who suffered a mild MCL sprain back in November, will be checked out by the Moose Jaw doctors upon the team's return home on Monday.

...being such a physical defenseman McIlrath will always be susceptable to injuries. We just have to hope they're never of the major variety.
