With Stepan's return, there are currently no Rangers still playing in Europe.
...ok, something's going on. As I said earlier today, I don't want to get my hopes up regarding a CBA agreement, but I'm really liking that so many players are returning to North America. Let's just hope it isn't for the holidays.
And to completely contradict what I just said, here's a tweet from Henrik Lundqvist who just returned to Sweden after being in New York, so who knows...

Or he doesn't have the right chemistry with the players over there. He needs the Rangers to be what he was. Wish I could watch him in Blue!
They were reporting earlier that Stepan was really struggling overseas. Maybe he's just not feeling it, or is homesick?
everyone's just going home for the holidays. and of course for hank, might as well practice with his old junior team as long as he's in town.
@cb1 I hear what you're saying about holidays. But none of the Rangers who have come home have mentioned that's the reason. They're all saying minor injuries. And Stepan said outright the reason he came home is because he believed season would start in a few weeks.
@KevinDeLury i hope you're right. it seems weird that stepan would say something like that, but maybe the players all secretly agreed to cave if there isnt a deal by a certain date? wishful thinking!

That doesn't mean he's going to play for them right? He's just getting a sweat in. Pleeeeease don't get hurt!!!
Yeah just for the holidays I'm sure. Face it there will be no hockey this season. Then next season if there is one the prices will be jacked up even higher to make up some of this seasons lost moneys.
