Katie Strang at ESPN.com reports that the NHL and NHLPA plan to resume informational discussions today, although there are no formal bargaining sessions scheduled.
The two sides, which convened yesterday over a series of conference calls, may meet in person in New York late tonight or tomorrow.
...while it's great they're still talking, I thought if they got past the initial conference call we may be in business, but as has been the case this entire lockout I'm left disappointed at the news these continued talks will be nothing more than informative. 12 days till drop dead day fellas, might want to start, you know, bargaining.
The NHL is a JOKE .. Every sport at one point had a lockout -- they figured it out !! The NHL does not care about their fans plain n simple
@TheNYRBlog all any #NYR fan should worry about is getting a deal done that doesn't require breaking up the team after 13-14.
@TheNYRBlog I heard at this point they don't even need to formally meet anymore to negotiate and reach tentative CBA. We'll see...
@TheNYRBlog I hate to be Mr Negative...but...sorry ...I don't think it's happening. We are getting out hopes up fir nothing #sadbuttrue
Stupidity!! Just Cancel already so i get my $$$ back for season tix...40 game season would be retarded especially with Nash out and Hagelin hurting..already moved on to spring training.. NHL and NHLPA have made us the FANS 2nd to their game. We made YOU!!! Greedy muthf##kers!!!!
@TheNYRBlog I think it's going to be different I'm hoping for great news by tithe end of the day. Fingers crossed!
