John Shannon at Sportsnet reports that NHL Deputy Commission Bill Daly and NHLPA representative Steve Fehr spoke yesterday.

Shannon speculates that talks between the two sides will start up again on either Wednesday or Thursday.

man... at this point i just want to see the whole thing blown up... break the union, sue the SHIT out of the owners, void all current contracts and then have 800 UFAs go on the market.  we'd see some teams fold up for sure then, both canadian and american.
